Musician’s Health Problems: A Psychophysiological Approach
This resource explains how the Musicians’ Clinics uses an evidence-based, psychophysiological model to assess and treat musicians’ injuries, anxiety, depression, and stress-related medical conditions through integrated ergonomic, neurological, and psychological approaches. It reviews our use of quantitative tools—such as biofeedback, motion analysis, HRV, and neurofeedback—to diagnose underlying stress mechanisms and guide personalized prevention and rehabilitation strategies for performing artists.
Epidemiology, Ergonomics, and Epigenetics: Performance Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
The Musicians’ Clinic provides specialized, trauma-informed healthcare that integrates epidemiology, ergonomics, psychology, and emerging epigenetic research to address the unique physical and mental health challenges faced by performing artists. This resource outlines how chronic stress, injury, and performance-related pressures affect musicians’ health and demonstrates our evidence-based approach to prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
